[오늘의 생활영어] After all; 결국
(Two friends are talking in a bar…)(친구 둘이 술집에서 이야기를 나눈다…)
Sharon: You don't look very cheerful.
Lance: I'm supposed to meet Bob and Chris here for a drink but they haven't showed up yet.
Sharon: They're probably held up in traffic. After all it is rush hour.
Lance: I know but they should have been here by now.
Sharon: Relax. There's nothing you can do about it.
Lance: You sound like my mother.
Sharon: It can't be helped. I'm a woman.
Lance: I have noticed that.
Sharon: So why are you meeting Bob and Chris tonight?
Lance: We're going to the Dodger game.
