[오늘의 생활영어] read (someone) like a book; (누구를) 아주 잘 이해하다
Daryl: What‘s the occasion?
Len: What are you talking about?
Daryl: You didn’t invite me to lunch without a reason?
Len: You picked up the tab the last time.
Daryl: Len I can read you like a book. Tell me the truth.
Len: You‘re right. I want to quit my job.
Daryl: You make good money. Why would you want to do that?
Len: I want to travel around the world.
Daryl: That sounds like a pipe dream.
Len: I was hoping you would understand.
