[오늘의 생활영어] things are looking up; 상황이 나아지다
Sam: Tom how‘s your mother? I heard she had an accident.
Tom: She’s doing much better.
Sam: What happened?
Tom: She fell at home and hurt her leg.
Sam: Is she bedridden?
Tom: She was for a week but she‘s walking around the house now.
Sam: That’s good.
Tom: Yes. Things are looking up.
Sam: Let me know if she needs any help with anything.
Tom: Thanks. I‘ll take you up on that.
