Kent: How was your week?

켄트: 한 주 동안 어떻게 지냈어?

Dick: Brutal. I‘ve been on the road all week.

딕: 끔직했어. 한 주 내내 돌아다녔어.

Kent: Do you want to get together this weekend?

켄트: 이번 주말에 한 번 뭉칠까?

Dick: Yeah. Let’s go for a hike.

딕: 그래. 하이킹 가자.

Kent: I‘m up for that. When do you want to go?

켄트: 난 시간 돼. 언제 가면 좋을까?

Dick: How about Sunday morning?

딕: 일요일 아침에 어때?

Kent: That’s perfect. In the mean time let‘s think about where we should go.

켄트: 딱 좋다. 그 때까지 어디로 갈 건지 생각해 보자.

Dick: I will. What time do you want to go?

딕: 그래. 몇 시간에 갈까?

Kent: Let’s not go early. It‘s pretty chilly in the morning.

켄트: 일찍 가지는 말자. 아침에 꽤 쌀쌀해.

Dick: Okay. I’ll call you about nine o‘clock.

딕: 좋아. 9시 쯤에 전화할 게.

*on the road: (차로 장거리를) 여행하다 돌아다니다.

“We were back on the road before dawn.” (우린 동이 트기 전에 다시 여행길에 올랐어요. *get together: 뭉치다. 모이다.

“I’m getting together with a few college classmates for New Year‘s Eve.” (올 마지막 날에 대학 친구들 몇 명과 뭉치기로 했어.)

*up for (something): 시간이 나다.

“She’s always up for a movie and dinner.” (그녀는 영화보고 저녁 먹는 거라면 사양하는 법이 없어.)
